REWORD TO MAKE RELEVANT FOR THIS BANK... Our Exmoor Habitat Bank is mainly focused on the restoration of former hay meadows where a neglected grassland will be brought back into a thriving lowland meadow with pockets of mixed scrub. In addition to the meadow there is an area of poor quality grassland with higher nutrient levels that has been planted up to provide scrub units and new hedges have been created to generate hedge units. As the first habitat bank on the national register (BGS-080324001) we are proud for our Exeter habitat bank to be a flagship project delivering best in class BNG units to support developments in the Exeter area and beyond.
